2011

So I seem to make a blog post every 5 to 6 months. Its my thing...let it go. I had big plans for this blog. I was going to become rich and famous like my favorite blogger The Pioneer Woman. There was one little hitch in my plan, I am too anti-techno. Another thing that would help is if my family would actually OWN a computer. I designed it to keep in touch with family and friends, but between Lonnie's and my families they are luck to have a computer, let alone Internet access. But enough of my whining.

It is time for puppies!

This is a Border Collie (named Sage)

This is a Corgi (Named Ellie).
They are my furry children. My dad says that when I have children I will need to spray paint my dogs orange so I remember to feed them, but for now I am enjoying misaligning my mothering instincts.

All you need to know about me in 5 pictures.

This is my husband Lonnie and my dog Sage. If it ever came down between the two I would have to think really hard about which to let go. Luckily, the get along swell, actually Sage is starting to like Lonnie better, so I may need to start bribing soon...

Along with a seriously annoying skin condition, i inherited a quirky sense of humor from my father. Stuffed buffalo and bunny ears...classic.

I married a farmer. Don't judge. I like his 20X jeans. See above picture.

I grew up on a cattle ranch and loved every minute of it. This is a picture I took of my sister while we were gathering cows in the fall. I like this picture. It makes me feel warm fuzzies inside, but let me tell you it wasn't warm and fuzzy that day! Look at Colleen's layers! P.S. I am noticing a disturbing trend of pictures of butts in my blog... probably should put an X rated warning on soon.

I did this for a whole summer...and I liked it! Yep. That is how weird I am. I'm cool that way.

Thanks for reading my randomness. Thank you

5 months ain't too bad...

Okay so it has been 5 months since my last post, but since I am sure nobody ever reads my blog, I am sure there are no broken hearts out there, except one ( thanks Mom). But thanks to the inspiration of my buddy Randi, I have decided to try blogging again. Check out Randi's blog at http://randisfoodcorner.blogspot.com I am finishing up spring term at Oregon State University and I am getting a bad case of senioritis also known as idontgiveacrapanymoreosis. It is a serious disease sweeping the nation, particularly on college campuses. Seriously people, wear masks, it is highly contagious. Please pray for my swift recovery.

2nd Honeymon

Well most of you know that I got married last summer in July. After the wedding we had a short honeymoon on the Oregon coast in Florence, OR. It was right during the busy grass seed season here in the valley, so we couldn't take much time off. We decided this fall that in the winter when things slowed down, we would go to another part of the coast and extend our short honeymoon. We started to plan this trip, but soon realized that after only 6 months of marital bliss...... yeah that is what we are going to call it... that we were bored of eachother's "quirks" and decided to invite some company. We invited one of our "couple" friends and we went to Lincoln City, OR. it was a great weekend and hope to go on some more trips this year with friends.

One small step for man...

Well I have a blog. This is a big step in my anti- techno skills, but here I am swathing a path, forging on through the jungle, making strides in the field of computer literacy... well you get the idea. My plan is to use this a a newsletter of sorts for family and friends, but I also plan to post pictures and comment on things going on in my life for your entertainment pleasure. I have been described as a random and weird person so beware! Well until next time. Stay classy.
